I love being a Mom of two little girls, but it can definitely be stressful! Here are some cute and humorous things about Moms, and true!! Lol. Enjoy :) New favorite show: NickMom.
On the road again. . . Dave and I love our traveling! When I was a little girl, I use to own a children's atlas book. At 10 years old, it was my goal to one day say that I had visited every state in the US. I would "star" every state I had visited, which back then was only Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. I do not still own that atlas, however last weekend I was able to add another state to the list...Vermont. For my fiance's new job, we were flown out to Burlington, Vermont for a week. We had never been to that part of the county before. It was beautiful! Miles of rolling hills with the Adirondack Mountains in the distance. We stayed at the Hilton hotel, right beside Lake Champlain. A sunset view from our hotel room. The community was very unique. The food at the restaurants we ate at, had locally produced food and drink. We didn't see many restaurant chains or "fast food". At one...
8:44 AM- I am sitting in bed with a cup of coffee in my hand, waiting for my two little girls to wake up. I've been at it since 5:30 AM this morning. Don't ask me where I have gotten all this energy lately. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am not a morning person. I enjoy sleeping in (whenever motherhood allows me too). But, for some reason, I've been feeling like I just had a 5 hour energy shot before the sun even comes up (although, I still can't turn down the Starbucks cup of coffee, my fiance brewed for me before he left for work). I guess I just can't shut my brain off. There are too many exciting events up ahead and a lot of planning to get done. For those of you who don't know, my amazing partner of almost 2 years , David Lattimer, proposed to me on Christmas Eve. After Christmas Eve mass, he took me to the front of our church, got on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. He is such a compassionate, loving man, and we have a...
Flashback to my high school years and I was running on average six miles a day, five or six days a week, as well as lifting. Good ole cross-country! To say the least, I haven't really kept up with that regimen. I have been randomly working out or going on little spurts of daily exercise over the years, but never really fully dedicated myself to training. Just recently, one of my best friends and I started working out everyday before the sun even comes up. It was extremely hard to get out of bed that early, especially since I am NOT a morning person at all. But we are now on our third week of working out and it feels so great! I hope I can keep this momentum going and just feel healthier all around. Sometimes all you need to push yourself that extra mile is the perfect workout song. When I was in cross-country, I remember always listening to fast paced and sometimes even outright angry music to get ...
