Meet the Blogger


I am a SAHM with two little girls. Kiah is six years old and Eden is three. When I'm not cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kiddos, I enjoy modeling, acting, singing and writing. I've been a professional freelance model since 2007 and been doing acting gigs since late 2007. In the summer of 2012, I stayed in New York City for a month to study acting further at the T. Schreiber Studio. In Ohio, I have studied acting for Scene Study, Character Development & On-Camera Technique at Maureen Dempsey's Cinematic School. And I am currently enrolled in the Houde School of Acting in Cleveland. I have been in several Hollywood films, MTV commercial, as well as some independent work in Ohio. 

Singing is actually my number one passion and has been since I was a little girl. To me, when a person sings they are baring their soul. When I was in Elementary school I sang for my church. From Middle School to High School, I was in the choir and in my college years I wrote and recorded a few songs. Since the summer of 2011, I've been taking weekly voice classes to strengthen my voice and knowledge of classic pieces of music.

I am a Christian, huge animal lover, movie buff and I love taking photos and scrap-booking.  I love traveling and volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters and I recently accepted to become a Board member of the Alzheimer's Association Northwest Ohio Chapter for a 3 year term!

Train Like a Beast, Look Like a Beauty

        Flashback to my high school years and I was running on average six miles a day, five or six days a week, as well as lifting. Good ole cross-country! To say the least, I haven't really kept up with that regimen. I have been randomly working out or going on little spurts of daily exercise over the years, but never really fully dedicated myself to training. Just recently, one of my best friends and I started working out everyday before the sun even comes up. It was extremely hard to get out of bed that early, especially since I am NOT a morning person at all. But we are now on our third week of working out and it feels so great! I hope I can keep this momentum going and just feel healthier all around.       Sometimes all you need to push yourself that extra mile is the perfect workout song. When I was in cross-country, I remember always listening to fast paced and sometimes even outright angry music to get pumped up before the race. Currently my favorite workout songs are:

Swisher Sweeties in Frankenmuth, MI

     After coming home from a long work weekend, and being curled up on the couch watching TV with my husband and youngest daughter, I realized I haven't been keeping up much with my blog. We have all been extremely busy lately. Thursday morning, I left for my Swisher promotional job and headed to Detroit. The hotel was gorgeous! In the restaurant area they had a live jazz band and extremely tasty food. I enjoyed sitting and listening to them for a couple hours.  The next morning, I headed towards Frankenmuth, MI where the Country Fest would be going on for the next couple of days. The environment was so much fun. Live bands, cowboys and cowgirls for 6/7 hours a day with the other Swisher girls. We had a blast. Saturday, since we didn't have to be at work until 6,  the three of us girls got to explore Frankenmuth a little. Even though it was very chilly out, we wandered around cute shops and restaurants.
