Back to The Green Mountain State

    For the third time in a year and a half, my husband and I are back visiting Burlington, Vermont. His company's main office is located here. We drove the 12 hours to get to Vermont from Ohio. Along the drive, I really wanted to stop at some unique, maybe even cheesy, road stops. I searched for the world's largest and smallest roadside stops. I found a great website that helps locate stops along your route. Check it out! I will definitely be using this site more often.

Roadtrippers

With the above website, I found the World's Smallest Church located in New York. The church is in the Guinness Book of World Records and can fit two people inside. People have visited this church from all over and it has even been the site for weddings! However, since it is in the middle of a pond, the guest had to sit in boats.






The rest of our drive to Vermont was through the Adirondack Mountains. It was beautiful! I will be uploading more photos in another post. We absolutely love to travel. Discover your America!

        Flashback to my high school years and I was running on average six miles a day, five or six days a week, as well as lifting. Good ole cross-country! To say the least, I haven't really kept up with that regimen. I have been randomly working out or going on little spurts of daily exercise over the years, but never really fully dedicated myself to training. Just recently, one of my best friends and I started working out everyday before the sun even comes up. Swisher Sweeties in Frankenmuth, MI

     After coming home from a long work weekend, and being curled up on the couch watching TV with my husband and youngest daughter, I realized I haven't been keeping up much with my blog. We have all been extremely busy lately. Thursday morning, I left for my Swisher promotional job and headed to Detroit. The hotel was gorgeous! In the restaurant area they had a live jazz band and extremely tasty food. I enjoyed sitting and listening to them for a couple hours.  The next morning, I headed towards Frankenmuth, MI where the Country Fest would be going on for the next couple of days. The environment was so much fun. Live bands, cowboys and cowgirls for 6/7 hours a day with the other Swisher girls. We had a blast. Saturday, since we didn't have to be at work until 6,  the three of us girls got to explore Frankenmuth a little. Even though it was very chilly out, we wandered around cute shops and restaurants.
