More than coffee!

   I am sitting here all cozy on the recliner watching "Watch What Happens: Live" on Bravo. My 3 month old Basset-Hound/Border Collie mix puppy is sitting on the floor next to me, annoyingly attempting to chew on my computer cord. And now she is on the couch chewing on my red flowered pillows, even though two of her toys and her bone are sitting only a few feet away. It is 11:11 pm (make a wish!) and I have been browsing the Internet in my down time. My husband and children are sound asleep and I am nowhere near ready for bed. I'm such a night owl. Anyways, I found a very helpful site and I thought to myself, "How come I never thought of this before!? What a great idea".
I am always looking for ways to organize my childrens' room and the cost of containers, shelves, etc. can really start to add up. This site has a great idea to use your old Folgers coffee cans! And they even have some labels already made up, all you have to do is print them. I am really looking forward to making use of the empty containers I have.Check it out and enjoy!         Flashback to my high school years and I was running on average six miles a day, five or six days a week, as well as lifting. Good ole cross-country! To say the least, I haven't really kept up with that regimen. I have been randomly working out or going on little spurts of daily exercise over the years, but never really fully dedicated myself to training. Just recently, one of my best friends and I started working out everyday before the sun even comes up. It was extremely hard to get out of bed that early, especially since I am NOT a morning person at all. But we are now on our third week of working out and it feels so great! Swisher Sweeties in Frankenmuth, MI

     After coming home from a long work weekend, and being curled up on the couch watching TV with my husband and youngest daughter, I realized I haven't been keeping up much with my blog. We have all been extremely busy lately. Thursday morning, I left for my Swisher promotional job and headed to Detroit. The hotel was gorgeous! In the restaurant area they had a live jazz band and extremely tasty food. I enjoyed sitting and listening to them for a couple hours.  The next morning, I headed towards Frankenmuth, MI where the Country Fest would be going on for the next couple of days. The environment was so much fun. Live bands, cowboys and cowgirls for 6/7 hours a day with the other Swisher girls. We had a blast. Saturday, since we didn't have to be at work until 6,  the three of us girls got to explore Frankenmuth a little. Even though it was very chilly out, we wandered around cute shops and restaurants.
